Moving house as a nine-year-old and seeing the removal men stagger off down the drive after a pint or two of my father's homebrew probably
planted the seed. When I left home I started making wine with tea bags, which was better than it sounds, but it wasn't until 2001 I turned my attention to brewing beer.Like many I started with kits, but it wasn't until the middle of 2007 that I decided it was time to do things properly. So I'm a relatively inexperienced all-grain brewer but the learning curve is steep and I'm enjoying every moment. My only regret is that I didn't start sooner.
Mark lives in Swindon and brews 5 gallon batches.
